Where will I be working?
Our client is the UK's leading provider of expenses management software. Their cloud-based software has multiplatform access and reach their customers through a network of resellers and their own direct sales activity. They are growing rapidly with highly aspirational plans and and a dynamic management team. meta-morphose graduates have featured heavily in this team's past sales successes and they are keen to build another team of superstars!
In this role you will generate qualified sales opportunities which will support the business revenue targets.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Field sales enquiries by following up leads from campaigns, referrals and Web requests including 'cold/dead' prospects
Ensure campaigns are effectively followed up, capturing and feeding back to Marketing any information gathered and accurately logging any successful opportunities through the system
Maintenance of a CRM system through regular calling, accurate recording of details and updating contact information
Assist in the completion of tender documents and follow up on any overflow sales opportunities passed over from senior colleagues
Active prospect monitoring supporting accurate forecasting and lead status updates
Adopt a tailored sales approach for each prospect, aligning and meeting expectations
Support the Sales function in reviewing, planning and rolling out new processes and procedures into the team
Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams through sharing feedback from prospects and trend recognition to drive successful campaigns and product development direction
Exhibition attendance and demonstration support.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Effective written and verbal communication with good presentation skills
* Organised and efficient
* Meet and set targets and deadlines whilst managing a range of concurrent activities
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work on own initiative and to be a good team player
* Influencing and negotiating
* Rapport building.
* Competency in MS Office applications
* Familiar with presentation software
* Graduate calibre
* A full, clean UK driving licence advantageous
* Ability and a willingness to travel within the UK, and outside office hours from time to time.
