Graduate Success Stories

Success in Metamorphose's terms means achieving something that wouldn't otherwise have been possible - taking graduates with drive, aspirations and energy and helping them on the track to real success in a top-flight sales career.

I am very much looking forward to beginning my job and also to the meta training I shall begin next year!

Firstly I would just like to say thank you to Metamorphose for all your guidance and support over the last month, its truly been invaluable. I am so excited to be placed, although the nerves are kicking in now! I think it is going to be a really good opportunity for me.

I have really appreciated the regular phonecalls and emails to check whether I am OK and not once have I ever felt neglected or forgotten about! I am very much looking forward to beginning my job and also to the Metamorphose training I shall begin next year.
Again many thanks!

Johnny Pascall

The Inspirational Selling course was incredible!

I learnt such a large amount of useful skills that I am brimming with confidence and enthusiasm to get out and smash my targets! The trainers were all extremely friendly and approachable and obviously knew their stuff inside out.

I honestly can't recommend Metamorphose highly enough - for people wanting the best possible start to a professional sales career, Metamorphose are the only option.
Thanks so much!

Chris Fenton

I wanted to say a big thank you to the team for organising a fantastic assessment day last Saturday.

I came away having proved to myself that I can present and have even made some new friends along the way.

I am really looking forward to working more closely with Metamorphose next year having been given the thumbs up for a future in sales. I firmly believe that this is an opportunity not to be missed and will certainly recommend Metamorphose to anyone interested in sales.
Once again many thanks, and may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a sensational New Year.

Ben Russell

I am huge fan of the Metamorphose ethos and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit I have made so far.

I had a great time last week, the course is well designed and tailored to meet the needs of all types of people, the structure is well thought out and is cleverly condensed to an action packed week that will leave you reeling for more.

The feedback I have received from Meta has been invaluable in helping me do my job more efficiently and with greater degree of confidence. I love the practical side to Metamorphose and the ability to actually put in to place the theory that you learn, and to test how far you can push yourself.

Big - Big Thanks to everyone at Metamorphose, I couldn't have done it without you.

Peter Adler

I would like to place on record my gratitude to all the staff of Metamorphose I met and spoke with during the process of selecting and interviewing for a new profession.

I have dealt with a number of recruitment companies and headhunters during my professional life, but none have come close to the professionalism, quality, commitment, dedication and courtesy I have received in the past four weeks.

The energy generated at Cheltenham is awesome and the methods of selection are clearly well constructed, effective and stretching. At no time did I feel neglected, but was treated with respect and intelligent assessment throughout.
Many thanks

John Harkins

Thankyou for all the help and advice that you've given me during the whole recruitment process because it's very much appreciated!

I've found my experience with Metamorphose great so far. Metamorphose are just so far ahead of the game in sales recruitment, other consultancies just seemed to play a numbers game putting a whole load of job prospects in front of me that I had no interest in.

Metamorphose listened to what I wanted and brought me opportunities in those areas. Everyone showed great confidence in me and were very supportive both before and after interviews.

The most common question that I was asked in my interviews was "what do you think of Metamorphose?" I think that shows that prospective employers believe in Metamorphose and trust them to provide high calibre candidates capable of being their next great sales person!

I'm very much looking forward to the Part 1 training - I've heard good things from my colleague who is one of many metamorphose graduates working here!

Metamorphose is a great experience from the start and it doesn't stop when you get the job!

I applied for a job advertised by Metamorphose and the next thing I knew one of their team called me up for a phone interview which I passed and was invited down to Cheltenham for an assessment day.

There must have been about 30 people there for assessment so you're not alone! It was explained in more detail how the assessment day would be planned out and what it meant to be part of the Metamorphose 12 month programme.

First of all, we did a group exercise watched by the people of meta, followed by our presentation and a face to face interview. As this was done at our own leisure, we had the opportunity to speak to some of the other people there for assessment and get a cup of tea which helps ease the nerves!

Everyone I met was really nice, from the people who were there for assessment, to the assessors themselves, and the mini bus driver. It's a very relaxed day where you get noticed for being yourself.

On the Monday morning after I passed the assessment I got a call from one of the meta team and we talked through my feedback from the assessment day. He actually told me I had done better than I thought I did!

I was then offered some great opportunities by e-mail and after a couple of weeks, I attended an interview. It didn't go as well as I had hoped, but the feedback was really valuable. I then had some problems communicating with meta, so I sent them an e-mail explaining the situation and the problem was totally rectified. I went to another interview and got the job!

Metamorphose is a great experience from the start and it doesn't stop when you get the job!
Thanks to everyone at Metamorphose!

James Tod

After attending the assessment day, I was offered an interview with an employer within a couple of days. The advice given before the interview was invaluable.

From a graduate's point of view, the recruitment methods used by Metamorphose are first class. Having access to all those employers has to be more efficient than approaching each one individually!

I was offered employment after just one interview which proves the selection processes is effective, matching the person with their job requirements perfectly.

I am currently very happy in my position, and looking forward to Phase 1 training where I hope to formalise the skills I have been using at work. It will also offer an opportunity to compare notes with others in similar positions to myself!

Blick U.K, a member of the International Blick Group, leads the market in Time & Attendance, Security & Access Control, On-site Communications and Digital TV Distribution. Blick have worked closely with Metamorphose and recruited a number of graduates building a strong business relationship. Satveer was offered a great role with Blick - here is her account of her experiences with Metamorphose for this role.

A True Success Story

After graduating from Derby University I really had no direction and was working within a company where I felt I had no room to grow or progress. At the time I had gained some experience in purchasing and dealing with a range of clients, I enjoyed this side of business and wanted to use this experience to start my career path.

Searching for opportunities lead me to discovering Metamorphose and my application was processed very quickly and I was soon down for an assessment day. The assessment day was a really good experience and a good chance to meet other graduates who were also in the same position.

"The turnaround of my application was very fast. I was offered job roles straight away and got through to second interview."

After being offered some good roles, I soon went forward for a second interview. The interview went really well, and within a few days I was offered the job to my great surprise. The salary was very attractive, but the experience and challenge was the real attraction. I would recommend any graduate to go through Metamorphose, it has been a great experience and I found myself in the best job role!

The day after the assessment day I received a call briefing me on a particular role with an IT solutions company. The job specification looked impressive and the response from Metamorphose was extremely quick. I attend an interview the following week!

After studying for a BSc in Multimedia with Computing at The University of Gloucestershire and achieving 2:1, I attempted to find a role that would allow me to capitalise on my degree.

After a few weeks of rather dull temporary employment I found myself asking a lot of questions about my career progression. Luckily, my partner then introduced me to Metamorphose.

Prior to attending the selection and interview day I must own up to feeling apprehensive about the event. The staff on the day were so professional and friendly that I quickly realised that Metamorphose is a very well oiled machine focussed on recognising the skills necessary to succeed in the sales environment. The nerves vanished! The assessment day was fair, relevant, and enjoyable at the same time. Throughout the day I did not feel like "just another candidate" as everybody I met was friendly and down to earth.

The day after the assessment day I received a call briefing me on a particular role with an IT solutions company. The job specification looked impressive and the response from Metamorphose was extremely quick. I attend an interview the following week!

I chose this because my role is both interesting and challenging. Although this type of sales based role was relatively new to me it applies to my Multimedia/IT degree. Exactly the role I was looking for!

Metamorphose definitely give a helping hand providing outstanding opportunities for people in this potentially daunting arena.

Metamorphose has turned me from a graduate with aspirations to a successful sales professional. The skills I have learnt will be with me wherever my career takes me.

After enjoying a successful career in retail sales having completed my A Levels, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in business-to-business sales after my degree.

Metamorphose offered me an alternative to the regular recruitment agencies. They would not only help me find a job but also train me and support me, using proven methods to turn me from a keen, but relatively inexperienced graduate into a trained and commercially aware sales professional.

During my initial selection interview, Metamorphose listened carefully to my requirements. I let them know what kind of business I wanted to work in, where I would prefer to work, and what kind of salary I required. The day after the assessment day I was offered the chance to attend interviews at two companies!

I carefully researched the companies and felt that from the two the opportunity with an IT company would offer me an exciting career opportunity with a quality product I would feel happy and excited to sell.

My interview process with this company was straightforward, there were four Meta Morphose graduates going for two positions, so I didn't feel as though I had an unrealistic chance of being offered a job. Two interviews later I was packing my bags to start an exciting new career with a global company.

Six weeks after I had started work I attended two weeks intensive residential training with Metamorphose in Cheltenham. This opportunity was fantastic, I met with other graduates and received interactive training by trainers who had all been sales professionals in their 'past lives'.

Role-plays and listening formed the majority of the training, not to forget the sales mantra of questions, questions, and more questions! Then it was back to work to put it all into practice and to develop my skills.

Six months later and it was back to Metamorphose for a refresher and even more in-depth training. During this week, all graduates, who were now a little more experienced, felt that everything learned could be used practically, and if unsure, asked questions until they saw the correlation.

Metamorphose has turned me from a graduate with aspirations to a successful sales professional. The skills I have learnt will be with me wherever my career takes me.

In short, my personal Metamorphose experience has been excellent. I started out with a desire to begin my professional life in sales and have had encouragement and support all the way through. I would recommend anyone to Metamorphose and have benefited from and enjoyed the whole experience.

My first step was to look at the Metamorphose website, which had interesting job examples and laid out the simple process for applying. A couple of days later I received a call from the Meta office. It was from this point that the Metamorphose team proved why they are so successful today.

The caller was very open and honest with me. She explained the Metamorphose structure and what they want to achieve for the graduates they take on board. She asked what I was looking for and why I felt I was right for a job in sales.

The assessment day in Cheltenham was the second day of its kind I had attended so I was aware of the type of skills I would be required to demonstrate. I found the Metamorphose day enjoyable and very constructive, even a good opportunity to start networking (I am still in contact with a friend from that day). The most important element for me was that all the Metamorphose team came across very positively about what they did and the company. They effortlessly created a relaxed environment in what was essentially a highly nervous day for all attending.

As promised, once I had passed the Assessment Centre Meta came back to me with several job opportunities in a variety of industries that matched the criteria I had given them, including an opportunity within 24 hours.

I felt very comfortable with the operational side of these offers. I was not pushed to feel that I had to take the interview as a point of politeness or policy, and after the interview I did not get pushed towards accepting the job unless I felt comfortable and positive about it. I was, however, given an opportunity to discuss it properly and assess the positives and negatives of the opportunity at hand, and not just left up to my own decisions.

This seemed to have been the trend of the Metamorphose ethos right from the first phone call. The approach was honest and somewhat caring towards my high personal ambitions and accepting the correct opportunities.

I attended several interviews and got through all of them, however the job I eventually accepted has provided me with the opportunity to reach and surpass the initial targets I had set myself.

Planit International, an international market leader in CAD software in the respective Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom industry, employed me and has been as supportive and professional as I could have hoped from any first employer.

Metamorphose have kept in contact with me throughout my first 12 months of employment and have offered guidance with the sort of questions any new ambitious sales executive would have.

A large part of the Metamorphose structure orientates around their 3 courses through-out the first 12 months.

- The initial course lays foundations for the sales process, and introduces you to ideas and successful methodologies. This provides you with the option to take these educative ways and use them how you wish.

- The second course involves the discovery of personality types and negotiation techniques. The course is based on literature and research, but is developed with strong, interesting examples and activities.

- The third course offers development of presentation skills, an activity that a sales person is so often required to perform. Good presenting skills are essential for success in sales and this part of the training really adds structure and builds confidence.

At all 3 stages it is highly encouraged that there is a high level of group involvement. The practice sessions, interviews, phone calls and presentations are all video taped and the opportunity to personally analyse and critique individual performance proves to be an exceptionally useful facility (although somewhat nerve racking at first!!!)

The leaders of the various stages, offer the highest professional training and advice and the encouragement of the Metamorphose training team is always to hand during group and individual work.

In short, my personal Metamorphose experience has been excellent. I started out with a desire to begin my professional life in sales and have had encouragement and support all the way through. I would recommend anyone to Metamorphose and have benefited from and enjoyed the whole experience.

I have not only added a great job, professional success and concrete training to my CV, but have recently reached the final 6 candidates competing for the title 'Best Newcomer to Sales - Products' in the National Sales Awards to be held in London, early 2006. This would not have been possible without the belief in me from both Planit and Metamorphose.

Angeliki Chatzimoschou

Above all, I absolutely enjoy my job and the experiences that I get on my way to a better career. Thank you for such an opportunity.

I am currently working in Tokyo...I've been in Japan for the last 3 months! It's been quite an experience so far. There are so many customs to learn (from handing out your business card the right way - with both hands, to bringing your plate close to your mouth when you eat while slurping your noodles into your mouth). It is such a different place that at the beginning it can be a bit overwhelming. But I have been doing extremely well so far on both a social and professional level.

So well, in fact, that I have managed to surpass my bosses' expectation of me, resulting in congratulatory e-mails from the Sales Director and Managing Director! Our Japanese clients are so delighted with my organised, charming and professional approach that they are informing my boss how happy they are with me. Not bad considering their doubts at the beginning about how helpful a Sales Engineer could be to their company. Also, my salary has increased by more than 50% since I started - with my accommodation and many of my expenses being met. I know it's a British custom not to talk about such things but I guess I have to tell you since everyone at Metamorphose was (and still is) part of my success.

Joseph Cleary

When looking for graduate placements, Metamorphose appealed to me for a number of reasons, mainly the training and support on offer. With Metamorphose I knew that I was going to be successful. After attending the selection day I was excited about what the future had to hold.

Joseph Cleary a recent Metamorphose graduate was a finalist in the 2005 National Sales Awards 'Young Sales Professional of the Year - Products'.

"I work in the Regional Anaesthesia team of the Hospital Care Division. As a sales specialist my role involves developing and maintaining business in the North West. Developing good relationships with anaesthetists and understanding both the industry and customer buying motivations is an essential part of the job. Working in this dynamic environment is both challenging and enjoyable and is very demanding at the best of times.

I have been very fortunate to find a company that shares my enthusiasm and drive. B Braun promotes an excellent training and development philosophy and has given me the tools and resources to help develop my skills. Metamorphose International has played a big role in this.

When looking for graduate placements, Metamorphose appealed to me for a number of reasons, mainly the training and support on offer. With Metamorphose I knew that I was going to be successful. After attending the selection day I was excited about what the future had to hold."

Joseph went into sales because of the challenge it presented and because he believes it will help him in his ultimate ambition to be CEO of a major company. In Josephs first year he grew sales by 32% and his nine months of trading in year two shows a staggering 64% further growth. He has also made great strides in his pharmaceutical exams.

Joseph's advice to future meta-grads:

"I would advise other graduates in the same situation to be themselves, prepare well and put everything they have into it. They will know after the assessment day if they have what it takes to work in the profession.

When I joined B Braun, I didn't have any former sales training. The two weeks intensive training course with Metamorphose was excellent. The sales technique they teach gives you a framework to build on and tailor to your own business.

Go in with an open mind and give it everything you've got. You may well be surprised to see how many practical selling skills you already possess, developed through life experience.

In my first year at B Braun I won the Regional Anaesthesia Sales Specialist of the Year Award. In 2004 I am continuing this success, getting through to the finals of the Young Sales Professional of the Year Award.

Throughout my year with Metamorphose one thing has been stressed more that anything else - Attitude is the key to a successful sales career, what you put in, you will get out."

Florence Barkats

Overall, I very much enjoyed the experience I had with Metamorphose and would recommend it to all Graduates wanting a career in sales.

When I started looking for a job after going back to University for post-graduate studies, I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do. I wanted to go into medical sales yet, I had no experience in Sales. I sent my CV to Metamorphose who called me the very next day and invited me for an assessment day.

The assessment day was challenging but also lots of fun as it involved group interaction and group exercises. In preparation for my interview, I researched what 'business-to-business' sales means today.

When I passed the Assessment Day I was then offered several interview opportunities that would match my qualifications and objectives. After the interviews, I received valuable feedback and advice from the account manager, which helped me learn and enhance my interviewing skills.

Overall, I very much enjoyed the experience I had with Metamorphose and would recommend it to all Graduates wanting a career in sales.

Winchester-based Florence Barkats is originally from Cannes in France and was awarded the prestigious title of 'Young Sales Professional of the Year - Services', from Paul Ross at the National Sales Awards 2005 held in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. These are the 'Oscars' of the sales industry and reward individuals for their tremendous achievements in business.

Florence has been working with Ethicon Endo Surgery, selling medical supplies throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight since November 2003. Commenting on her nomination Florence said: "I am very excited to be a finalist in the National Sales Awards and feel I have come a long way."

Graeme Cameron

I wanted to find a company that took sales seriously and understood that it is the lifeblood of any organisation. In addition, I was not solely focused on hollow adverts offering huge riches but a company that was dedicated to train and promote graduates to positions of management.

Graeme Cameron, graduated with Metamorphose three years ago, he is now National Sales Manager at B Braun Medical.

"In my final year at University I decided that I wished to pursue a career in sales. I wanted to find a company that took sales seriously and understood that it is the lifeblood of any organisation. In addition, I was not solely focused on hollow adverts offering huge riches but a company that was dedicated to train and promote graduates to positions of management.

I was very fortunate to be recommended Metamorphose International who aimed at taking raw graduates and placing them in blue chip companies, which were dedicated to their career development.

After submitting my CV I was invited to attend an assessment day at the Metamorphose training centre in Cheltenham. This involved a number of group exercises, a presentation and an interview. What pleased me most was not only the friendly atmosphere and professionalism, but also the speed at which the decision was made.

I was delighted to accept a position with B Braun Medical, one of the largest healthcare companies in the world, employing over 30,000 staff.

After spending my first 2 weeks at B Braun I returned to the Metamorphose training centre where I underwent an intensive sales training programme. This provided the perfect balance of theoretical foundations mixed with practical role-play exercises.

The Metamorphose training programme not only gave me a tested system for sales success but the confidence to build a career. Metamorphose made it extremely clear from the start that it's not your experience but your attitude towards success that creates a great sales professional.

This has rung true with me ever since. After being at B Braun for two years, I won the award of Sales Specialist of the Year, following that I was promoted to Senior Sales Specialist before being moved up to National Sales Team Leader and now onto my most recent position of National Sales Manager."

Michelle Dundas

Hard work and dedication needs to come from you, but Metamorphose really worked hard for me as well and I felt that I had a team of professionals at hand to help me get started.

I found out about Metamorphose through a friend who had recently been successful. I graduated five years ago so was a little unsure as to whether or not I would be what they were looking for but I gave them a call and they were enthusiastic and helpful from the start. They said that my work experience would give me an advantage if anything!

Previously I was working in an office-based managerial roles and I always felt that I wanted something more from a career... when I started to look at sales as a serious option I realised that it could offer me everything that I wanted. From flexibility to monetary rewards... I have always been a great believer that you get out what you put in! I decided that I wanted to pursue medical sales as I wanted something that I could believe in passionately.

Already having a full time job meant that I did not have vast amounts of time to pursue such roles plus I didn't really know where to start! With a quick e-mail and a telephone call I had set the ball rolling and within a month I had been to the assessment day and passed...

I found the day really enjoyable - hard work but enjoyable and rewarding! On the day the staff were organised and supportive and I got some good clear feedback about my presentation and CV, which was great. There were lots of high-calibre candidates there but it was reassuring to know that Metamorphose was looking at everyone on their own merits and that we were not in direct competition with each other.

I drove home feeling great and really focused...

Very quickly I was offered a fantastic opportunity in medical sales and I am thrilled to say that I got the job and everything is going great! The staff from Metamorphose keep in regular contact and I am looking forward to my skills training.

Metamorphose has some fantastic opportunities available and they work with some really exciting companies.

I would whole-heartedly recommend Metamorphose to graduates looking for a career in business-to-business sales.

Gavin Hagon

Without the support and training offered by Metamorphose I don't believe I would have achieved as much success, as quickly as I have.

Gavin left Brunel University with an honours degree in Applied Chemistry and attended an assessment day at Metamorphose to find out what career opportunities might be open to him.

"I was unsure when I went along to Metamorphose about what I wanted to do. During the assessment day I began to realise that I was really enjoying the challenges the day posed, the energy and professionalism of the Metamorphose team and the realisation that professional selling was a career option and by the end of the day I was convinced. I wanted to sell."

Metamorphose found Gavin an outstanding opportunity at a medical devices company which is part of the Johnson & Johnson group.

"Metamorphose taught me many things but perhaps the most influential for me were how to listen, how to set goals and the importance of business and sales etiquette. Their methods were challenging and entertaining and the range of trainers and speakers was impressive. Without the support and training offered by Metamorphose I don't believe I would have achieved as much success, as quickly as I have."

Gavin has received yet more good news, being voted "Sales Person of the Year" by his company, and being promoted to a newly created role of Marketing Executive. In this newly created role, Gavin will head the sales and marketing activity for a completely new product range.

Rachael Williams

For me, the ongoing training and support was essential for confidence building as well as making that first step from graduate to sales professional!

I attended a Metamorphose assessment day in July 2000 and was successful. I could hardly believe it when an ideal position came up for interview the following day. I attended the interview; and was extremely pleased when two days later I was offered the job at GB Information Management as an Account Manager. I was so impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment of Metamorphose and even more so that I had applied and found myself a job all within one week!

Twelve months later and I am still enjoying my sales role and am on track to exceed this years target. I credit part of my success to the ongoing support from the Metamorphose team and the successful completion of the Metamorphose training, which I found to be both challenging and fun. I learnt that selling is not just concerned with a tangible product, but is about communication, attitude and professionalism. For me, the ongoing training and support was essential for confidence building as well as making that first step from graduate to sales professional!

Ben Green

Without Metamorphose I would have never been working on such diverse and challenging projects or earning a salary that I had thought twelve months ago would be totally out of my range.

Metamorphose offered me a direct route into the IT and communications market. As a graduate I had spent four months after university filling in countless application forms, travelling to various interviews lacking in vital industry knowledge and skills. I needed direction and precise advice.

This opportunity was given to me by Metamorphose based upon my potential and attitude, not past experience or results. Once I had cleared the selection panel I was given access to staff who discussed what I wanted, not what they thought I would be suited to. The personal relationship with Metamorphose starts straight away. I phoned a selected member of their team the following day and was given a company to research; a company that fitted my criteria. The crucial interview advice I was given was invaluable - and I received an offer from Korus Systems just two weeks after walking into Metamorphose.

The three-tiered training programme has given me so much in such a short time frame. The trainers put so much into the sessions you cannot fail to learn. The ranges of subjects are diverse and relevant to everyone starting a new job. Demanding practical role-plays back up the theory sessions. All feedback has one purpose; to improve your performance. It is detailed, constructive and honest. Such subjects as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) interested me so much so I am signing up for a separate course.

Taking the framework that Metamorphose provides you with into the working environment replaced the nerves and doubt I previously carried into meetings. It felt great to have a sales skeleton upon which I could build product knowledge and my confidence and results benefited tremendously. What you learn in the training room is applicable to the outside world. 12 months after my part 1 training I am still using the fundamentals of the training received to great effect.

Metamorphose has fast tracked me into a job and industry where with hard work I can develop product/industry knowledge and, most importantly, professional, strategic sales skills. Without Metamorphose I would have never been working on such diverse and challenging projects or earning a salary that I had thought twelve months ago would be totally out of my range.

Peter Tanner

I got offered the second job I was interviewed for, and I am over the moon with it. It is in the industry I find most interesting and has an excellent package and equally good prospects. I was really pleased with the service Metamorphose provided to me, their people are great and I would recommend them to anybody.

Like most new graduates I found the idea of finding a good job very daunting. After attaining my 2:1, my fears only got worse as the initial excitement and enthusiasm quickly disappeared when I got several "Dear-John" letters and countless no replies.

So I made the wise decision that it was best to use a recruitment specialist to help me find that dream job. I heard about Metamorphose International from fellow graduates I knew at university. They had all secured great jobs through Metamorphose with excellent packages and prospects. I contacted the company and they arranged for me to have a telephone interview. The questions they asked were very logical, and their manner was relaxed and friendly. This in turn led to me being invited to an assessment day in Cheltenham.

My first impressions were that the company had attracted a high standard group of individuals to attend the day. The structure of the assessment day was well organised and it seemed to flow at a nice pace. The people who ran the day were extremely helpful and very enthusiastic. Their methods of assessment were appropriate and it was easy for me to see how they would demonstrate the skills they desired from a potential candidate. The people running the day did so very professionally, and it was obvious that they would ensure everyone benefited from the experience - whether they made the cut or not. After I had been told I was successful in my application, they gave me a constructive talk on anything they thought I could improve. They also specifically identified what industries were of interest to me, and most importantly what were my career ambitions. They asked 'Where did I see myself in 5 years time?', so they could help me to find a job to realise my personal goals.

During the time when they were actually arranging interviews for me and sending me job briefs there was always someone there to talk to in the office. You quickly build up a relationship with most of them, which I think is an important experience as it will be invaluable in a B2B sales career. They listened to all my requirements for the job, and took into account my strengths and any weaknesses, likes and dislikes. That ensured that the job briefs I was sent were appropriate and very appealing to me. They were always there for me when I was going through the interview stages of recruitment - giving me good advice.

Phill Wood

I've just secured a role as account manager with one of the world's leading medical companies thanks to the opportunities and support I received through Metamorphose International.

It wouldn't be fair to compare Metamorphose to other graduate recruitment companies because they are so far ahead of the rest in every way possible.

I experienced ups and downs along the way to finding my perfect career opportunity and the ongoing support I received from Metamorphose kept me going every time I got knocked down. With these guys you're not just a number or an agency fee, the nature of the relationship you build with your account manager means that they're there to support you and advise you as well as provide you with the best sales jobs in the graduate sector.

The job opportunities you receive once you've passed the selection process are second to none and my advice for any graduate looking to break into the exciting world of B2B sales would be to call Metamorphose and arrange to attend the assessment day.

Impressing the people at Metamorphose in the assessment centre could be the single most important thing you do for your career.

Once again I'd like to thank everyone at Metamorphose for being so supportive over the last six months and providing me with the opportunity. I sincerely believe it is the perfect opportunity for me!

Victoria Goodwin

Metamorphose has definitely given me lots of support, I hope it continues throughout the training and the following twelve months!

I attended the University of the West of England for three years and studied a BA (Hons) in Business Management with Equine Science Modules.

Doing this particular degree gave me the opportunity to study a business degree as well as offering a practical side in terms of the equine science. I got a good general biological science background as well as specific business modules. The science side also covered elements such as estate and facility management, which gave me the opportunity to apply the business modules to real life situations.

I then went on to work in sales, which I think is where my enthusiasm for a sales career began. I enjoyed the buzz of ensuring that targets were met and that customers were satisfied, and I thought - I could do this, and do it better than my employer - not that I would have told them that!

I started job-hunting in January of my final year. To be honest, it wasn't really going anywhere, agencies were never really interested and had a tendency to under sell me to jobs which I had no interest in. They got funny to say the least if I said that I didn't want to be put in for a position. I then applied for a job working for a steel company who wanted a sales/PR/marketing person, through a Metamorphose advertisement - but held out little hope. They rang me the following week and I had a mini interview there and then!

I must admit - I was sceptical, another agency full of promises! The assessment day looked terrifying, and I then found out that a friend of mine had just dropped out as he said it sounded too pressured and would be full of Oxford graduates! By the day I was very nervous and was having second thoughts.

The day was totally different to how I imagined it. Everyone was so friendly from the minute I got there. All of the other candidates were lovely and everyone seemed to want the same thing. I found the team games a bit awkward at first but soon relaxed and tried to make a good impression. The feed back was brilliant and they actually seem to be interested in what I wanted out of a career. I went home on a total high, even after the pop idol style selection process! The crunch came the next day when I rung up - this is where in the past recruitment agencies have shown themselves up, but straight away I was shown two positions and it didn't stop after that until I got the job.

I am really looking forward to starting my new job. Although I'm a bit nervous, the training and support that Metamorphose offer makes me feel a lot better. I don't think that I would have been confident applying for, or accepting the job if it hadn't been for them. All the way through, graduate recruitment and resourcing have been fantastic and always easy to contact and talk to. Their pre-interview chats always made me feel at ease and they were always positive about my knowledge and the company. Metamorphose made me realise that my degree was worth a lot, something which other agencies didn't seem to value at all.

Metamorphose has definitely given me lots of support, I hope it continues throughout the training and the following twelve months!

My advice to other graduates looking for jobs is to stay positive and focused, don't undersell yourself - and set realistic career plans. In interviews, preparation is definitely the key; it's a pain but go the extra mile with regards to competitors, be aware of their market place and know the company well.
